From the 22nd of February to the 1st of March, Inter Alia member Nikos Pasamitros participated in the DAY CUL training course in Nicosia, Cyprus. During the seven days of the course, the participants explored and got a grasp of the notions and functions of culture, cultural diversity and cultural understanding through non-formal education methods. 26 NGO and youth workers from 13 countries (Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Denmark, France, Greece, The Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Romania, Spain and the United Kingdom) along with the three trainers (Panayiotis Theodorou, Milena Lazic and Salvi Greco) and the supporting staff (Isabelle Guerbigny, Valentini Orphanidou and João Samuel Poças) explored culture through active training at the premises of Politistiko Ergastiri, the Classic Hotel Nicosia and all around the capital of Cyprus.
