On Thursday, 20th of September, a group of eleven young people from Germany came to the office through a study visit organized by the Modern German Catholic Youth.

They all have different stories and jobs, but a common interest: to get in touch with the Greek reality and the expectations of young people about their future in the country, about the European Union, and to learn more about how associations in Greece are working to positively affect the changes and to let young Europeans meet and stay in contact.

During this interesting meeting, our staff had the possibility to talk about the story of the organization, our mission and vision, the specific objectives and the projects we are currently running, and it was really impressive to see how this led to many questions from the visitors and to an open discussion about social, civic, religious and political topics, all oriented through an exchange of opinions and experiences.

It’s always useful for us to participate to this projects, in order to strengthen our openness to the society and to the questions that can rise about our activities and their aims, but also to let the others know a new reality by sharing, all revolving around the meaning of the word commitment.
