The NoMe project involves 20 participants plus three facilitators from 5 EU countries (4 per country), interested and motivated to learn and experiment with innovative creative practices to integrate and enrich with those they already use in their role as youth workers and educators.
Profile of participants:
- Possess at least 2 years of experience in youth work or volunteering activities
- Have a projection of continuity in the youth sector
- Good command of English to be able to actively participate in group work
- Willingness to collaborate and actively participate in all phases of the project (preparation of participants, mobility, follow-up activities, evaluation, etc.).
- Have a propensity for the arts and in particular for the theater. However, it is not required no knowledge of acting techniques in order to participate in the training.
The project will encourage learning and intercultural exchange between participants from different backgrounds and will represent an opportunity for all participants to deal with different methodologies of non-formal education and have an experience of transnational mobility of great value.
The training will offer all participants the opportunity to acquire increased self-awareness and self-confidence as well as acquiring a set of skills to use in professional life everyday. Participants will be guided in improving some of the skills useful in the daily work of youth worker.
More specifically:
- Communication skills and English language skills will be improved.
- Participants will be able to gain confidence.
- Participants will be taught new ways to express themselves and interact with others.
- They will be prepared in how to apply the experiences and skills acquired in personal, professional and social life in the new challenges.
