Do you think that a truly progressive global Green New Deal could reshape the world? We do!
We believe that a progressive Green New Deal with a global focus could transform the world economy and society into one more equitable, inclusive, and just. We also believe, however, that without global campaigns met by an organised grassroots movement, such initiatives will not happen, and real, meaningful changes will not be achieved any time soon.
So, we stopped waiting and started Our Global Moment to make those global campaigns happen!
Our Global Moment (OGM) is a collective of organisers, researchers, and activists creating a platform for long-term global collaboration to fight inequality, climate change, the global health crisis, and transform global society.
The campaign we are working on now…
We are currently designing a Europe-wide campaign aiming at pushing the European Green Deal to a progressive direction. This will require political leverage, and an understanding of where to apply that leverage, both of which depend on the involvement of all kinds of people, regardless of their experience.
We believe that there are many people who deeply care about these issues and want to get involved. If you read these lines, you are probably one of them, and we would love to have you with us in this meeting where we will present the collective, speak about the upcoming campaign and ways to get involved. We can’t wait to get to know you!
