Info Day at Inter Alia, 29 September 2017

We organized an Info Day opening our doors to everyone curious and interested to know more about the mobility opportunities in Europe and beyond, long and short term training courses and seminars offered by the organisation.

We began with a brief introduction of the Erasmus+ programme and the different actions available for the Greek youth. We tried to highlight that the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union covers many more fields than an exchange semester abroad, as for example, vocational training, voluntary service and sport.

The presentation focused on the field of youth given the experience and activities of Inter Alia with the goal to inform people willing to get involved in mobilities as young participants and as youth workers. We provided information about the different project types, their objectives and the main background requirements for each mobility type. As we noted, these projects do not require candidates to be currently students at a university and according to the project type the age requirements. In specific, we talked about Youth Exchanges, Training Courses and European Voluntary Service (EVS) projects. We exchanged views and talked about personal experiences as examples for these projects.

Afterwards, we introduced some of Inter Alia’s ongoing projects as reference to the first part of the Info Day. We introduced:

Our two Capacity Building in the field of Youth projects that Inter Alia coordinates: Mission Responsible

our two EVS projects: #SI4SI

We devoted time for the introduction of the newly launched project under the “Europe for Citizens” programme: Outcast Europe

Due to high interest and success of the event, we decided to repeat this and organize a second Info Day in the upcoming months with a focus on the 8 Key Competences for Life-long Learning!

Stay tuned for more!
