Boróka Balint

Boróka has recently completed a postgraduate programme in Southeast European Studies at the University of Athens and holds an MA degree in Political Philosophy from Pompeu Fabra University. Her academic research has focused on the topics of social and economic transformations in late capitalism, youth precarity and vulnerable social groups. A couple of years ago Boróka rediscovered her passion for drawing and design which since then became an integral part of her professional life. She has facilitated civic projects and non-formal education activities through linking images to words and ideas, and helping others reconnect with drawing too. Additionally, Boróka is an active member of European May, a transnational grassroots initiative aiming at bringing about a progressive Europe through the construction of a strong network of local activists and community organizers.

She is fluent in Hungarian (mother tongue), Romanian, English, and Spanish.
