Are you over 18, interested in cinema and motivated to share personal or collective stories of oppression?
Our new FILMINTS (Filming at Intersections) project aims to provide quality education and training as a step towards a more inclusive and fair world. We have chosen the art of cinema to promote equal opportunities and access to policy and public life by equipping adult learners, like you, with knowledge and skills for advocating for their rights and overcoming barriers to their participation and representation.
For the aims of the project, three local working groups will be formed; one in Athens, one in Malta and one in Wuppertal.
We invite you to become part of our Local Working Group in Athens, Greece, and work alongside other participants for the creation of 2 short films that tell stories of oppression and discrimination.
What you will gain from joining the LGW and the foreseen training:
- Experience and professional training on:
- Communication and transversal skills
- Filmmaking
- Advocacy and Fundraising
- Collaboration with a motivated team
- Co-creation of two short films
- Access to our Positively Different Short Film Festival events
