~ PDSFF22 volunteer testimonials ~
“Positively Different Short Film Festival is a great festival! From my experience as a volunteer I got to know better its ideology, the people behind the festival and of course watch many films that investigate intersectionality through a cinematic and sometimes poetic gaze. I especially enjoyed the communication with the organizers, who were both friendly and professional. But, apart from the preparation, I really enjoyed my experience during the days of the festival, as well as the connection with people who came to watch hard-to-find and extremely exciting films.” – Dimitris A.
“The PDSFF22 experience found me in a situation where I had to join every meeting from a different city in Greece, if not abroad. This shaped the outlook and mood with which I entered each meeting or exited a weekly “home viewing session”. What definitely didn’t change all these months was the feeling of having a cinephile group to discuss with, the sense that all opinions fitted without anyone being judged of right and wrong ideas and of course the anticipation for the in-person meetings. Which finally came and gave a third dimension to the people who became the festival for me
three things I am keeping: movies that touched me, people who hugged me and mulled wine in cold entrance halls” – Marina B.
