The main goal of the project is to develop the capacities of involved organizations to promote social inclusion and volunteerism, by implementing sport activities and services including young people, aged 18 – 30, with or without mental disabilities. Τhrough these activities the end goal of the project is to use sport as a driving force for social inclusion.

The specific objectives of the program are to:

-Develop the knowledge and experience of the partner organisations in the fields of social inclusion, volunteerism and sport;

-Share good practices and develop innovative ones aiming at increasing quality of services provided to people with mental disabilities;

-Develop the capacities of the five partners to integrate “unified activities” in their voluntary practices; Raise awareness among the public on the importance of sports in the process of social cohesion;

-Support networking between organisations representing different sectors, especially youth and sport.

Each partner will organise 6 local activities in their local community. The events can be trainings, awareness raising campaigns or developing the ‘Inclusive Volunteering 1+1. Two international Round Tables for exchanging and sharing know-how are foreseen: 11 – 14 May 2018, Skopje, FYR Macedonia11 – 14 October 2018, Athens, Greece.
