I vote for myself | Meet young progressive candidates for the European Parliament

Do you know EU elections are approaching? On 8-9 June Greek citizens will vote to choose who will represent them in the European Parliament! 

  • Do you want to get informed about EU elections but don’t know where to start?
  • Would you like to get in touch with under-35 candidate MEPs and ask them about their vision about the future of the EU?
  • Are you interested in getting to know the political parties’ electoral manifestos? 

We have what you’re looking for!

Save the date: 9 May, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Communitism (Katerinis, 10, Athens). 

Programme of the event: 

  • How to: elections edition – how to register, where to vote, why to vote, what will we vote for
  • Discussion in small groups about ideas and concerns, topics that matter for us and what we would like to see in the next years
  • Under-35 MEPs from progressive parties introduce themselves and tell us their stories of participation and political engagement
  • Q&A session: what are candidates’ plans for the future? What will they focus on once elected?

We are waiting for you together with Aikaterini Florou (The New Left), Myrto Korovesi (Syriza) and Haris Tsimitakis (MERA25), ready to discuss priorities and ideas for the next EU legislature.
