September and October were two intensive months for the ECHO Academies as we successfully concluded our last two academies.
Architecture Academy in Budapest, Hungary: In Budapest, Hungary, our participants embarked on a unique journey into the city’s industrial architectural heritage. They began with online lectures, followed by a week of intense artistic work in Budapest, where they gained inspiration from architectural history walks and consultations with professionals. This culminated in a pop-up exhibition, showcasing the artists’ projects and the essence of their Budapest residency.
Fashion Design Academy in Smolyan, Bulgaria: Exploring the rich world of Rhodope traditional costumes, our Fashion Design Academy participants had the privilege to delve into the cultural tapestry of the region. The enchanting town of Smolyan, nestled in the heart of the Rhodopes, served as a wellspring of inspiration for our artists, brimming with undiscovered cultural treasures.
These academies weren’t just about creating art; they were a journey of cultural exploration and creativity. We’re thrilled to have added new knowledge and inspired artworks for our growing ECHO community.
