Let’s talk about Degrowth | Where we are and where we would like to be?

The time has come! The very first session of “Let’s Talk about Degrowth | The Series” is here!

Let’s Talk about Degrowth is a series of workshops aiming to ignite thoughtful discussions and raise critical questions about our growth-dependent society, eventually leading to collective actions. We will use interactive activities and informative materials to build a space for collective sharing.

Sustainable degrowth is a downscaling of production and consumption that increases human well-being and enhances ecological conditions and equity on the planet. It calls for a future where societies live within their ecological means, with open, localized economies and resources more equally distributed through new forms of democratic institutions.

In this session, we will have the chance to discuss our position in society, where we are, and where we would like to be. We will talk about our personal experiences in relation to the environmental movement and share our thoughts and concerns. Participants will be invited to assess their realities with respect to socio-ecological issues.

👉The workshop is free of charge and the working language is English.
